Low Light House Plants

From office spaces to small bathrooms, the popular question remains - what plants do well in low light? We’ve got a solid list for you of several great options that can handle dimmer environments.

One thing to take into consideration when placing indoor plants in low light is that they still need some light for normal growth habits. Typical issues will be a slower growth rate, etiolation (leggy stems), and/or no flowering (for plants that would typically produce blooms).

While these plants will be fine and healthy, my personal recommendation is to move them into some light over weekends or a few days every once in a while to boost their nutrients. Be careful not to put them directly in a window that’s getting harsh sun as this could shock them. A little light love a few feet back from a light source every once in a while will be appreciated.
